Privacy

Short version: we don't keep what you write.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you create a key.
- A one-way scrambled form (hash) of your key. We cannot read your key back.
- How many words you checked, to apply your plan's allowance.
- When you connect an app such as Claude with "sign in": the app's name and redirect address, and scrambled forms of the sign-in codes and tokens we issue to it.
- For visitors without a key: a scrambled form of your IP address and a word count, to apply the one-time free allowance and stop abuse.
What we don't collect
- The text or files you check. They are processed in memory on our own server and discarded once the result is sent. They are not logged or stored.
- Your conversations with Claude or any other assistant. We only receive the text the assistant sends to a Desloppy tool.
- Card numbers. We never see them.
How we use it
Only to run Desloppy: to check your key, count usage against your plan, keep connected apps signed in, and answer support emails. We don't sell data, show ads, or use your text to train models.
Who else handles data
- Railway hosts our server and its database (key hashes, emails, word counts).
- Cloudflare runs our domain and forwards emails sent to support@desloppy.com.
- Lemon Squeezy sells our paid plans as merchant of record. They handle payment, tax and receipts, and tell us your email and plan status so we can upgrade your key.
The AI detector runs on our own server. Your text is not sent to any outside AI service.
How long we keep it
- Email, key hash and word counts: while your key exists, and deleted within 30 days of you asking.
- Sign-in tokens for connected apps: access tokens expire after 1 day, refresh tokens after 180 days, or straight away if your key is disabled.
- Scrambled IP counts for visitors: kept so the one-time allowance works. They can't be linked back to you.
- Text you check: not kept at all.
Your choices
Email us to see, correct or delete your data, or to disable a key. You can also remove Desloppy from Claude or any other app at any time in that app's settings.
Children
Desloppy is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
